Noncommunicable Diseases and their Risk Factors

Each year, approximately 5.2 million people die from noncommunicable diseases (NCDs). This video explains why noncommunicable diseases pose a threat to countries in the Region of the Americas and what are the main strategies to prevent them by reducing associated risk factors and improving the control and care of people who suffer from them.
