Global Report on Hidradenitis Suppurativa

This Global Report on hidradenitis suppurativa (HS) was published in 2023, and is a collaborative effort between the International League of Dermatological Societies (ILDS) and the Global Hidradenitis Suppurativa Atlas (GHiSA). GHiSA is dedicated to advancing global knowledge, awareness, and education about HS, and has produced this report to offer a comprehensive overview of the condition. It covers various aspects of HS, including diagnosis, emerging treatments, and global efforts. By highlighting the severe impact of HS, the aim is to guide policymakers and other stakeholders in allocating resources and improving healthcare for patients. This report marks the beginning of the GHiSA Initiative, led by Professor Gregor Jemec (Zealand University Hospital, Denmark), and will be foundational in ongoing efforts, including the GHiSA Global Prevalence study and future projects.
