" The general belief, especially in the African  region and any low- and middle income country, is that cancer is a death sentence. But there are a lot of survivors out there whose voices are not being  given an opportunity to talk about their challenges, but also share their success stories." Gertude Nakigudde, from Uganda, has been a breast cancer survivor for 21 years and is a member of MPP's Community Advisory Panel.
On National Cancer Survivors Day she shares her advocacy experience on how access to anti-cancer medicines could become a reality.
