43rd Camp of the Juvenile Diabetes Association

The ADJ/NR camp season, which has been held since 1980, focuses on diabetes education and has a social aspect to provide this experience to any child with Type 1 Diabetes (T1D) who is interested in attending the camp.

This season, we had 86 campers and 79 healthcare professionals, including 23 nurses, 32 doctors, 12 nutritionists, 8 psychologists, and 2 physical educators. Additionally, the NR team consisted of directors, managers, monitors, and 22 young diabetes leaders, totaling 101 professionals.

Participation in previous seasons is not a selection criterion; we allow participation more than once. However, during the registration period, priority is given to children attending for the first time or those who have attended before and this year would be their last participation due to age limits.
