The Global Atopic Dermatitis Atlas (GADA) and their collaborators would like to extend a heartfelt congratulations to our colleagues in Lebanon at the Gilbert and Rose-Marie Chagoury School of Medicine – LAU Lebanese American University, LAU Medical Center-Rizk Hospital and the Lebanese Dermatology Society, for recruiting the first patient to their national atopic dermatitis registry (LebRAD) during such challenging times.
This achievement represents not only a significant step forward in advancing atopic dermatitis research but also an incredible testament to resilience and dedication. A special thank you to Drs Jinane El Khoury Okais, Marwa Hallal and Rita Iskander for their extraordinary efforts in the face of adversity. Your work is an inspiration to us all!
We also extend our gratitude to Drs Maya Habre Rafih, Dr Maya Halabi-Tawil, Mazen Kurban Zeina Tannous, Elie Saliba, Jinia El Feghaly, Dr. Nancy Mufarrij Younes, Elio S., Greta Torbey, and Pascale Salameh for their support in this important project. This milestone would not have been possible without the generous support of the The International League of Dermatological Societies (ILDS), Leo Foundation and the Academy of Medical Sciences, and in collaboration with the International Eczema Council (IEC), GlobalSkin – International Alliance of Dermatology Patient Organisations and the International Society of Atopic Dermatitis (ISAD).
