Film screening and panel discussion: How primary and secondary prevention can help us conquer cervical cancer worldwide

Cervical cancer is a significant global health issue, disproportionately affecting women and girls in low- and middle-income countries. Despite advances in prevention and treatment, many women continue to suffer from this preventable disease.

Just after the Cervical Cancer Elimination Day of Action (17 November), IFPMA and the Global Health Initiative are organizing a film screening of Moonshine Agency’s ‘Conquering Cancer’ documentary, focused on primary and secondary prevention of cervical cancer.

A panel discussion with youth, civil society, industry, and international health actors will follow, featuring discussion on how the action we take on cervical cancer today paves the way for future generations and across women’s and girls’ health.
