World Heart Federation Cholesterol Roadmap 2022

The World Heart Federation Roadmaps are central to its mission to address the global burden of cardiovascular disease. They provide comprehensive frameworks for countries and regions to identify key barriers as well as implement evidence-based policies and health system strategies to prevent premature cardiovascular morbidity and mortality.

The updated WHF Roadmap on Cholesterol (2022) reviews the latest scientific evidence and offers guidance on priority interventions to reduce deaths and disabilities associated with elevated levels of low-density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol and lipoprotein(a), with a particular focus on familial hypercholesterolemia.
