UICC Global Breast Cancer Initiative foundational course

An online course providing foundational knowledge on the strategies that national programme managers, policy makers and multisectoral actors should follow in assessing, strengthening and scaling-up services for the early detection and management of breast cancer, following the World Health Organization’s Global Breast Cancer Initiative (GBCI) established in 2021.

This course is supported by UICC's Breast Cancer programme's partners.

  •  Understand the strategies that countries with high breast cancer survival rates have adopted to reach those results

  •  Describe the three pillars the Initiative employs to reduce global breast cancer mortality and the evidence behind each pillar's target
