​Science Summit at the 80th United Nations General Assembly

​​On the 10th of September 2025 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm New York time, CLAN, @MATES4Kids and Lehigh University were proud to co-host a side-event at the Science Summit at the 80th UN General Assembly (UNGA 80).

Titled "Harnessing Science, Technology and Innovation to Address the Global Challenge of Preventable Mortality Associated with Childhood NCDs", this event brought together remarkable speakers from all six of the WHO Regions of the world (AFR, AMR, EMR, EUR, WPR and SEAR), all sharing inspirational stories of excellence, innovation, commitment, success and resilience in their efforts to drive sustainable change for children around the world.
