Reducing Cardiovascular Mortality Through Tobacco Control: A World Heart Federation Roadmap

The World Heart Federation Roadmaps are central to its mission to address the global burden of cardiovascular disease. They provide comprehensive frameworks for countries and regions to identify key barriers as well as implement evidence-based policies and health system strategies to prevent premature cardiovascular morbidity and mortality.

The WHF Roadmap for Tobacco Control reviews the latest scientific evidence and offers guidance on priority interventions to reduce deaths and disabilities associated with exposure to tobacco, with a particular focus on the WHO Framework Convention on Tobacco Control and MPOWER Framework.

The WHF Roadmap for Tobacco Control will be updated in 2025/2026.
