Note by the Secretary-General: Progress on the prevention and control of non-communicable diseases and the promotion of mental health and well-being

This report, submitted to the UN General Assembly in 2017, provides an overview of global progress in the prevention and control of non-communicable diseases (NCDs). It outlines measures taken since 2014, identifies areas where progress has been limited, and highlights factors influencing implementation at national and global levels. The report also offers recommendations to guide future action and support achievement of Sustainable Development Goal Target 3.4
