IARC & partners applied untargeted metabolomics to identify serum metabolites associated with BreastCancer status in black urban women in Soweto, SouthAfrica.
The study team found high serum levels of cortisol, kynurenine, & octenoylcarnitine to be associated with higher risk of breast cancer.
