Reflections on 15 WHO commemorative health days prepared to promote conversations in churches on different health matters, with forewords from the WCC General Secretary and WHO Director General. Each reflection is less than a 1000 words and can be incorporated in various church activities. Each entry provides basic scientific information, global bottlenecks, biblical reflection and possible action points. This book offers a starting point for christian communities by promoting health literacy thereby stimulating interest for individual, family and community action.
