From 5 September 2022, the 2022 Global Week for Action on NCDs seeks to ensure NCD prevention and management get the attention and action they deserve, everywhere, for everyone.
On occasion of the Global Week of Action on NCDs, WHO’s GCM/NCD released a brand-new short film documentary co-developed with people living with NCDs and mental health conditions.
In tackling the complex global epidemics of NCDs and mental health conditions, people with lived experience offer powerful expertise and narratives to shape policies, programmes and services, with the aim of influencing and informing those in power.
A supporting animated clip advocates for the active participation of people with lived experiences, as a solid foundation of shared power between people and institutions to shape and co-develop policies and services bridging the gap from global to local.
View and share the animated clip (Arabic | Chinese | French | English | Russian | Spanish) (from Friday 9 September)
