The Asian Pacific Society of Respirology (APSR) and The Union Asia Pacific Region are organizing the 3rd Big 5 Lung Diseases Workshop, focusing on effective primary care approaches for five major lung diseases: asthma, COPD, acute lower respiratory tract infections, lung cancer and tuberculosis. The workshop will take place on 19 November 2026 as a satellite event of the APSR 2026 Congress in Penang, Malaysia.

The organizers are currently inviting submissions of Primary Care Models, with particular encouragement for contributions from primary care physicians and allied health professionals. The workshop aims to highlight practical experiences and strengthen primary care responses to major lung diseases.

The submission deadline is 25 April 2026.
