6th meeting of the Intersectoral Forum to Fight NCDs in Brazil (Fórum Intersetorial para Combate às DCNTs no Brasil - #ForumDCNTs)

Through engaging the main NCDs leaders from public, private sectors and civil society in an interactive platform, this meeting aims to:

1) Understand the international scenario, identify common challenges and learn from successful cases;

2) Update participants on the national NCDs plan in Brazil and understand how the ForumDCNTs recommendations were incorporated to this plan;

3) Align with legislative and executive authorities in effective policies and actions to fight NCDs in Brazil;

4) Value a multisectoral and multistakeholder perspective, especially of the person with NCDs, for the construction, monitoring and improvement of policies and programs for NCDs;

5) Facilitate the progress of the working groups through joint planning opportunities and new partnerships.
