The biennial congress of the Asociación Latinoamericana de Tórax (ALAT), which is the Latin American Thoracic Society. ALAT 2025 will gather respiratory health professionals from across Latin America at the Cancún International Convention Centre. With international guest faculty, the congress facilitates sharing of research and clinical knowledge on lung diseases prevalent in the region, notably asthma and COPD, tuberculosis, and lung cancer. The event’s goal is to strengthen respiratory care in Latin America through workshops, scientific sessions (held in Spanish and English), and networking, with a focus on regional challenges and guidelines in asthma/COPD management.
