This executive summary reflects the work of WHO in the African Region during the biennium that was guided by the 11th General Programme of Work (GPW), the Medium-Term Strategic Plan (MTSP) 2008–2013, Country Cooperation Strategies (CCS) and the WHO African Region Strategic Directions 2010–2015, whose milestones define a set of deliverable results for the Region.
