Getting to know GNP, GCM and the KAP

Take a look behind the scenes of the Knowledge Action Portal (KAP), the flagship community-driven online platform launched by the WHO Global Coordination Mechanism on the Prevention and Control of Noncommunicable Diseases (WHO GCM/NCD). Together with its partner unit, the United Nations Interagency Task Force on the Prevention and Control of NCDs (UNIATF) and the Director’s Office, the GCM is part of WHO’s Global NCD Platform (GNP) Department.

WHO’s Coordination Mechanism on the Prevention and Control of Noncommunicable Diseases (WHO GCM/NCD) is a Member State-led platform facilitating multi-stakeholder engagement and cross-sectoral collaboration to prevent and control NCDs and mental health conditions. Its Participants unite their knowledge, experience and resources to advance coherent and effective measures for the prevention and control of NCDs.
