The report of the eighteenth annual meeting of the Global Alliance against Chronic Respiratory Diseases (GARD), held virtually on 28 October 2025, is now available on the WHO website. The meeting marked a landmark year for lung health, highlighting key global developments including the first World Health Assembly resolution on integrated lung health, outcomes of the UN high-level meeting on NCDs, and renewed commitments to address air pollution.

The report summarizes priority commitments and actions to strengthen primary care, improve access to inhaled medicines, engage people living with CRDs, and advance integrated lung health approaches, including new global initiatives led by GARD members.
