Non-communicable diseases (NCDs) account for an increasing burden of death and disability globally, especially in low and middle-income countries. Young people under the age of 25 make up 42 per cent of the world’s population, however, when it comes to addressing NCDs, the needs of children, adolescents and young people are often overlooked. To help address this gap, NCD Child has created a free online course, the NCD Child Global Advocacy Course. This course aims to increase knowledge about the most pressing NCD priorities for children, adolescents and young people, and help those interested in NCD advocacy take their knowledge and skills to the next level
