Achieving sustainable health development in the African region: strategic directions for WHO 2010–2015

This strategy document guided the work of WHO in the African Region for the period 2010–2015. It highlights the issues, challenges, opportunities and priorities that should guide the work of the WHO Secretariat in the Region, and recognizes the socioeconomic dimension of health development.
