Awareness campaign in Haryana to strengthen post and ante-natal care

A three day awareness campaign on high risk pregnancies was organised in Jhajhar district of Haryana as part of the SMARThealth pregnancy project from Feb 3 to 5, 2020. &nbsp;This follows a similar exercise done in villages in Guntur for high risk mothers and ASHA workers. &nbsp;The campaign was part of an endeavour to strengthen post and ante-natal care for pregnant women.

More people with diabetes are developing kidney disease, with new risks emerging

&nbsp;A new study in people with diabetes suggests that 1 in 20 people will develop kidney disease each year and that this increases to 1 in 4 each year in people aged 85 years and over. With an ageing population these findings have an important flow on effect on our health system. Read more here.
