International Pediatric Association
The International Pediatric Association (IPA) is a consortium of pediatric organizations from around the world. It is recognized as the major voice for pediatrics and global child health issues. The IPA represents pediatric professionals at the World Health Organization, the United Nations, UNICEF and the Partnership for Maternal, Newborn and Child Health. The IPA endeavors to represent its members and provide support to pediatric leadership as they advocate for global policy initiatives or respond to more trying times, such as natural and humanitarian disasters. The IPA Vision: Every child will be accorded the right to the highest attainable standard of health, and the opportunity to grow, develop, and fulfill to his or her human potential. The IPA Mission: Pediatricians, working with other partners, will be leaders in promoting physical, mental, and social health for all children, and in realizing the highest standards of health for newborns, children, and adolescents in all countries of the world.
